Serala View is a newer, quieter extension of the Flora Park area on the southern edge of Polokwane; its name means "place of safety".
It is well placed for shopping — about six minutes from Savannah Mall and ten from Mall of the North, with Flora Park Shopping Centre, Thornhill Shopping Centre and Polokwane Lifestyle Centre all close — and roughly fifteen minutes from Meropa Casino via the N1/R71.
Nearby recreation includes the Flora Park dam and the Polokwane Snake and Reptile Park.
The area is still developing, with a mix of finished homes and vacant stands drawing buyers and investors.
