Ladanna is Polokwane's main light-industrial and commercial belt on the north-western side of the city, about 2.5 km from the CBD.
It is built on large stands — anywhere from about 900 to nearly 2 900 m², many with their own boreholes — which suits warehousing, workshops and mechanical trades.
The area works almost like a small town in its own right, with shopping centres such as Foodzone, plus pharmacies, vets and banks within walking distance.
It is closely tied to the neighbouring Annadale residential area.
